Analysis after the jump

1. Oregon: Well the Gerhart train went right through the Ducks’ defense, but a solid in conference record should maintain them throughout the rest of the season. They are in control of their own destiny, and can either grab the roses, or let them fall to...a whale.

2. Arizona: The Cats are ready to prove their record. Their season finale with USC is right around the corner, and they are just dying to get cracking at that USC Secondary; that hasn’t been hard so far this year, and well Nick Foles is a pretty good QB.

3. Stanford: The tide has changed for the Cardinal. They’re within striking distance, and should they beat USC at the Coliseum, which has never looked as possible for Harbaugh and Co., they should get their final say at that Rose Bowl bid.

4. USC: It’s been a long time since the Trojans have been this far down. USC will have to bounce back from their terrible performance against ASU to even think about getting close to Stanford. Toby isn’t scared, and he’s coming right for you. Can Wonderboy Matt Barkley put his money where his mouth is? We won’t know until he brings the Trojans to the Rose Bowl like his ancestors have.

5. Oregon State: Well the Beavers just keep marching. They are set for yet another collision course in the Civil War against their rival poultry. If Canfield can keep it up, their offense will be practically unstoppable when teams have to come to the Rodgers’ Neighborhood.

6. Cal: I was scared, but how scared is Cal right now as Jahvid Best was carted off the field. It’s a terrible thought, but how can they bounce back now? Vereen will have to carry this team back to the thought of post season smiles with Riley almost falling off the rocker. They still have to play “Furd”, and that matchup doesn’t look any better than it did when the Bears trounced UCLA.

7. UCLA: It finally happened. I never thought it could, but UCLA’s offense broke through, torching the huskies for a 400+ yard performance. The Huskies hadn’t given up that many yards all year, and they played LSU, Idaho (Nothing to sneeze at, I’m serious), USC, Cal and Oregon. So quite frankly, you could say Norm Chow is smiling now that he has not one, but two QB’s at his disposal. The defense has been stagnant, at best, but signs of aggressiveness and playmaking in the young secondary might make you think DC Bullough has them headed in the right direction. They’ll play in Martin Stadium against a hungry, no starving WSU team; which has spelled out disaster for the Bruins in recent years. Should they pick up the win, they’ll play ASU on senior day, leaving them in position to be playing their best ball all year as they invade the Coliseum in their Blue uniforms.

8. ASU: Well boys, it looks like ASU has picked their QB. The 6’7” freak is looking like their man after Osweiller nearly staged the biggest upset since USC got beat by UW earlier on in the season. The Ducks won’t make anything easier on the Devils as they are angry and looking to focus on the roses with a much needed win. Can the Devils get lightning to strike twice? Well... strike once on a W, which is remotely close to where it struck last week...

9. Washington: Ouch, the Huskies force 5 turnovers and still can’t make the struggling UCLA Defense give up some points. Locker and company will need to regroup and get another few W’s to even think about bowling.

10. WSU: Fill in the blanks; The Cougars will look to regroup after losing to _______,(Enter score >30) to (Enter score <14). It’s all about optimism right? There are 2 “winnable” games, and I say that liberally, and 1 of them is this week. And it’s at home. Can the Cougs spoil UCLA’s turnaround?
